The Queen size Star Trek quilt is one that I can’t wait to get started on. It isn’t needed until Magfest, so I don’t need to start on it right away. The only issue is the squares are the little tiny 3/4″ ones. That means it could take me a long time to make, especially if I am able to find a job soon. So the question becomes do I start it now and don’t have any additional quilts for Project Play and GenreCon, or do I wait and get it started in October? A quilt that large means once I get started on it I can’t work on anything else until it is done. I will make the decision after Baltimore Comic Con. If my wish list goes from Baltimore Comic Con to Magfest then I am working on the Star Trek quilt.
Next week also marks the deadline of receiving crossed stitched squares for the Child’s Play charity quilts. That means I will get started on the layouts and fabric selection for them soon. This years squares are looking amazing. I can’t wait to get started on them. I look forward to that project every year. If you are going to the Penny Arcade dinner auction in December, make sure you look for it!
